Sharp Automotive Repair is a family owned shop on W Montana St in Kalispell. We have been fixing vehicles for the Flathead Valley since 1999 — gas and diesel, foreign and domestic, no matter the year, make or model.

02 Services

Routine maintenance through to engine work. If it is on the list below, it is done in our own shop rather than sent somewhere else.

1. Diagnostics and check engine lights

   A scan tool gives you a code, not an answer. We trace the code back to the actual fault so you pay to fix the problem once instead of replacing parts on a guess.

2. Brakes

   Pads, rotors, calipers, hoses and fluid. We measure what is left on the rotors and tell you straight whether they can be turned or need replacing.

3. Suspension and front end work

   Ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, struts and shocks. Worn front end parts are what turn a good alignment into one that will not hold.

4. Alignments and tire rotation

   Frost heave, gravel roads and a hard winter pull a vehicle out of spec. An alignment costs a lot less than a set of tires worn through on the inside edge.

5. Oil changes and routine maintenance

   Oil, filters, belts and fluids, plus a look over the rest of the vehicle while it is up on the lift. Preventative work is the cheapest work we do.

6. Tune ups and engine work

   Plugs, coils, timing components and the deeper engine jobs, on anything from a commuter car to a truck that has to work on Monday.

7. Diesel service

   Diesels need different diagnostics, different fluids and different service intervals. We do them here rather than sending you down the valley.
